DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes of course! We love capturing photos at new and exciting places and are always up for a road trip. Just let us know your location and we can send through a travel quote.
CAN WE MEET YOU BEFORE WE BOOK?
Absolutely! We think it is important to meet up and get to know each other, to ensure you are comfortable and at ease with us. We are always up for coffee, so we can make a time to meet up in person or through Skype.
HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING DAY WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
You will receive your photos on USB, 6-8 weeks after your special day. Sneak peeks are available within 48 hours on our Facebook page and emailed to you.
WHAT GEAR DO YOU SHOOT WITH?
We shoot with Canon 5D Mark III and Canon 7D.
DO YOU CHOOSE THE LOCATIONS FOR OUR PHOTO SHOOT?
We love to get the couples input, especially if they have places of meaning to them. We always go location scouting before the day to make sure we have plenty of options.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF IT RAINS ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
You can actually get some beautiful moody and romantic images with umbrellas, plus trees always give great cover. We can also discuss options on the location scout.
DO WE HAVE RIGHTS TO PRINT OUR PHOTOS?
Yes, you do and please do make some! Photos come to life when they get printed.
DO YOU DO ENGAGEMENT SHOOTS AND PRE WEDDING SHOOTS?
Yes. We love them and we can incorporate them into your package (additional charges). You can even create a “guest book” with photos, ready for special messages from your guests on the special day (additional charges).
WHEN SHOULD WE DO OUR PRE-WEDDING SESSION?
We encourage you to do your pre-wedding session as soon as possible. The latest we suggest is at least 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding date.
HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU TYPICALLY DELIVER FROM AN PRE-WEDDING SESSION?
We typically deliver anywhere from 50-70 images per 3-hour shoot. Keep in mind these numbers may increase or decrease depending on the flow of the day and the number of events/activities needing to be captured.
DO YOU DO A LOT OF PHOTOSHOP?
We only do minor touch ups on things such as skin blemishes and distracting items in the background such as rubbish but we want to re-tell your story as real as we are able to. If you aren’t happy with something about yourself please let me know before the shoot so that we are aware when directing you!
WHAT PACKAGES DO YOU OFFER AND ARE YOU FLEXIBLE WITH THEM?
Our two packages on offer for wedding photography range from half day to full day. The most popular package is the full day, but everyone celebrates differently and if you need my services for more or less time let me know and we can talk to create a package that fits you!
CAN WE SHARE THESE PHOTOS ONLINE?
You have full print and share rights to the photos. Meaning you can do whatever you so choose to, as they are yours!
DO YOU HAVE REFERENCES I CAN CALL?
We sure do, just ask, and we will arrange the calls.
WHO WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHING MY WEDDING?
We are a partnership, husband | wife team.
HOW MANY PICTURES WILL YOU TAKE?
This varies significantly between weddings but you should expect 650 – 1000 photos. Keep in mind these numbers may increase or decrease depending on the flow of the day and the number of events/activities needing to be captured.
CAN I GIVE YOU A LIST OF SPECIFIC SHOTS WE WOULD LIKE?
Please do! You can also send us examples of work you like. We encourage this!
DO YOU DELIVER EVERY IMAGE YOU SHOOT?
No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery.
DO YOU DO DESTINATION WEDDINGS? WHAT ADDITIONAL FEES ARE ASSOCIATED WITH DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
Absolutely! For destination wedding photography we will need to include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.
HOW DO I RESERVE YOU FOR MY DATE?
All dates are reserved once we receive your signed contract and 50% deposit. Outstanding balance is due 1 week prior to your wedding.
IF WE CANCEL THE WEDDING, WILL WE RECEIVE OUR RETAINER FEE BACK?
Unfortunately no. Retainer fees are used to reserve your date. Once we’ve reserved your date, we do not accept new clients for your date.
DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE YOU A MEAL ON THE DAY?
If you have chosen a package that runs through a dinner service, then it would be great to get a meal. Usually this will be the first time all day that we have had a chance to sit down and refuel.
DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS?
Yes, we offer a selection of beautifully handcrafted wedding albums, with price on request. Albums are a great way to showcase your images and tell the story of your wedding day.
DO YOUR PACKAGES INCLUDE HIGH RESOLUTION FILES TO PRINT FROM?
Yes, our clients always receive a USB stick of all their photos, edited, in high resolution print ready files as well as images optimized for social media.
DOES YOUR STUDIO DO HEADSHOTS, INDIVIDUAL PORTRAITS, FAMILY PORTRAITS, NEWBORN SHOOTS, COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY, OR OTHER TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHY?
Yes, we have experience in many fields of photography. Feel free to contact us. We do have a mobile studio and we can come out to your house.
